Confidentiality of Student information

Information acquired by The Finishing School concerning students and their families is strictly confidential. This information, including names, phone numbers, addresses, emails and credit cards numbers, is never discussed, sold or traded with any other entity or person. All information is protected and kept in a secure location.

Student Makeup Policy

Makeup classes can be scheduled if notification is given at least 24 hours in advance and pending class availability.

Student Photo Policy

Pictures of the students are sometimes taken during the sewing classes. We use these pictures on our website, hardcopy and email flyers, Facebook and Instagram. We never use the names of students in these photos. Explicit notice must be emailed to rshin@thefinishingschoolva.com to request that pictures of students not be used.

Registration Cancellation

A $25.00 cancellation fee is charged if students drop out of their scheduled classes after registering.

Liability

The Finishing School will not be held liable for accidents that may occur during class or while waiting in or near the building, before or after class. All reasonable safety precautions to prevent any accidents are in place at The Finishing School. Parents remain responsible for their children’s safety until they walk through our door. I agree to release and hold harmless Robbyn Shin and all employees of The Finishing School from all claims or liability related to any accident that may arise because of my and/or my child’s participation in this program. I understand that sewing includes the use of machines, needles, scissors and other tools. These activities include risks that can cause or lead to injury. I grant permission to operate machines and to use tools and equipment. I give permission for first aid and/or medical treatment to be given if the need arises.
